Washoe County School District Graduates Completing Nevada System of Higher Education Remedial Coursework

Measurement Period: 2022-2023

Percentage of Washoe County School District (WCSD) graduates enrolled in the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) completing remedial coursework. Nevada Reportcard

Why is this important?

The percentage of WCSD graduates needing remedial coursework in English or math, may be much lower than the percentage of students enrolled in these courses but is an indicator of higher education success.  NSHE remediation needs are also based upon placement scores (ACT, SAT or Accuplacer) are also tracked instead of enrollment in remedial courses.
